The Reds are currently situated at the bottom of the group with a solitary point and need a victory to keep alive their chances of progressing to the next round.

However, it will not be easy, as Jeju have never suffered a home defeat against Hyundai A-League opposition in the competition in their three games (W1, D2).

In the Reds’ previous four visits to South Korea, United have recorded one win and a draw, while losing on two occasions.

Tuesday night’s match will be the second meeting between the two sides after the pair played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at Hindmarsh Stadium on matchday three.

Jeju have hit the woodwork four times this season, which is incidentally more than any other team in Asia’s premier club competition.

Adelaide’s Ben Garuccio has so far completed more crosses than any player in open play during the group stage with six.

In fact, Sergio Cirio’s headed goal in that 3-3 draw came courtesy of a pin-point delivery from Garuccio.

Reds centre-backs, Dylan McGowan and Taylor Regan experienced a busy day defensively against Jeju last time out – as they combined to register eight clearances and eight interceptions.

Adelaide United will face Jeju United in their fourth AFC Champions League 2017 group stage match on Tuesday, 11 April at the Jeju World Cup Stadium. Kick-off is at 8.30pm ACDT.
