Adelaide United has made one change to its squad for Sunday night’s Isuzu UTE A-League clash with Melbourne City, bringing in striker Luka Jovanović.
Jovanović missed the club’s season opening win over Central Coast after travelling to Spain with the Young Socceroos but is back in a 20-man squad named by coach Carl Veart.
The 18-year-old comes in for his first game of the season, having scored three goals from nine games in the 2022/23 campaign.
The other addition to the squad is midfielder Ethan Alagich, who did not feature against the Mariners.
While a quad injury means defender Javi Lopez is unavailable for selection, there is good news on the injury front with Panagiotis Kikianis to rejoin full training next week and Jay Barnett, Josh Cavallo and Harry Van der Saag each progressing towards respective returns from injury.
Adelaide United will welcome beaten Grand Finalist Melbourne City to Coopers Stadium on Sunday night with kick off at 6:30pm.
Tickets are available here, including a special $40 family pass for this weekend only.
