Tolland and Bowler depart Adelaide United

Adelaide United can confirm Zoe Tolland and Katie Bowler have departed the Club following the conclusion of their contracts.

Tolland, 23, made 63 appearances for the Reds after signing with the Club in 2022.

A proud South Australian, Tolland represented Adelaide Jaguars, Adelaide City and Football SA NTC before joining her hometown team.

During her time with United, Tolland continued to establish herself as one of the competition’s brightest young talents, highlighted by winning the Club’s 2024/25 A-League Women Rising Star Award.

Bowler, 23, also joined Adelaide United in 2022 and spent four seasons with the Reds.

Across her time at the Club, Bowler made 38 appearances and scored two goals, becoming a valued member of the squad throughout her time in red.

Tolland thanked her teammates, staff and supporters for their role in her journey with the Club.

“Thank you to all the girls I’ve played with throughout my time here and to the staff over the past few years that have supported me all the way,” Tolland said.

“To the fans, thanks for helping drive the women’s program to continue to grow and always showing up for us.

“It’s been an honour to play for my hometown team, thank you.”

Katie Bowler said:

“It has been an honour and a dream come true to be a part of this Club. I will forever cherish the memories and friendships made throughout this journey.

“This Club is made special by the incredible people within it, so thank you to the fans, staff and players for all your unwavering support and commitment to this team.”

Football Director, Mitch van Gellekom, thanked Tolland and Bowler for their contribution to Adelaide United.

“Zoe and Katie have both been valued members of our program and have represented Adelaide United with professionalism and pride,” van Gellekom said.

“Zoe should be incredibly proud of what she has achieved in red, while Katie has made an important contribution across her four seasons with the Club.

“We thank them both for everything they have given to Adelaide United and wish them all the very best for the future.”
