Adelaide United is pleased to announce the three competitors that will represent the Club for E-League Season 2 as revealed at the Live Draft on Thursday night.
This season will see the return of FUTWIZ Jamie on Xbox who will be joined by Rick Tran who makes the switch from Western Sydney Wanderers on PS4. Both competitors have competed in international tournaments and come with a strong pedigree.
The second iteration of the competition will mirror the final nine rounds of the Hyundai A-League, pitting the best FIFA 19 players in Australia against each other. This season also sees the introduction of a third competitor as a substitute bringing a new strategic angle to the competition as Clubs look to maximise matchups.
Zac May-Burgess aka vDreaMz—Shooter completes the trio and returns for a second season following selection in the draft.
“I couldn’t be happier to have signed on again with Adelaide for the E-League Season 2 alongside Rick and Zac this year,” said O’Doherty.
“Having the Club and the Reds fans support for not only myself but the E-League in general is something that really helped us push on to achieve big things in the first season, so I hope that can continue and we can win some silverware for the club.

Tran was a semi finalist in E-League Season 1 on PS4 and went on to compete at the Gfinity FIFA 18 Global Series Playoff in London, and most recently at the Continental Cup held in Paris during October 2018.
“After being involved in the E-League last season, I am even more excited to be involved again,” said Tran.
“Adelaide have shown real promise in wanting to expand the Esport scene in Australia, this has really helped me make my decision to join them easier.
“I’m really happy to be able to represent Adelaide on the virtual pitch and in the real world, and I also get to team up with Jamie who is one of my close mates from the FIFA scene.”

Speaking on linking up with the Reds for the new season, Zac May-Burgess said he was excited to rejoin the Club and assist Jamie and Rick in the push for E-League supremacy.
“It’s an absolute pleasure to have signed on with Adelaide United in the E-League, this time around being the substitute player for Season 2,” said May-Burgess.
“I’m extremely excited to work alongside the team for another year, especially with the signing of Rick who I think will add to our competitiveness for the upcoming season alongside Jamie the GOAT.”
The upcoming E-League season will feature FIFA 19 on both the PS4 and Xbox consoles and will be part of the EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Global Series, which serves as part of the qualification process to the FIFA eWorld Cup 2019.
Fox Sports will continue as the official TV Broadcast partner of the E-League with coverage on Channel 505 every Thursday night throughout the competition. In addition, all the action will also be streamed live on Twitch.
The Club wishes to thank FUTWIZ for their cooperation and is looking forward to collaborating with Jamie and FUTWIZ Owner Dan Bellis going forward.
