At 32 Lia arrives to the Reds boasting an abundance of Hyundai A-League experience. The defensive-midfield enforcer will add a steely resolve to the middle of the park, combining his physicality and aggression when screening the back-four. Lia spent the first two years of the Hyundai-League with Melbourne Victory, before joining Wellington Phoenix in 2007. During his time in New Zealand, Lia was a mainstay in the starting XI, accumulating over 200 appearances.
