Terms & Conditions – “1KOMMA5º Adelaide – Enter to Win + Power Play Giveaway”
1. Promoter
1.1. The promoter is Adelaide United Football Club (ABN 43 136 768 539) of Corner of Manton St and Holden St, Hindmarsh, South Australia, 5070 SA (Promoter).
2. Eligibility
2.1. Entry is open to residents of South Australia aged 18 years or older, excluding employees, contractors, and directors of the Promoter.
2.2. By entering, entrants confirm they meet these eligibility criteria.
2.3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
2.4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. Competition Period
3.1. The competition commences at 12:01am (ACDT) on 27 January 2026 and closes at 11:59pm (ACST) on 30 April 2026 (Competition Period).
3.2. Entries submitted before or after the Competition Period will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter
4.1. To enter the competition, individuals must submit a vote for their favourite ‘Power Play Moment’ by either: (1) completing the 1KOMMA5 online form accessible via the QR code displayed on the big screen at each Adelaide United home match; or (2) completing the Adelaide United 1KOMMA5 Power Play form available on the Promoter’s website and social media channels. An individual may submit more than one entry into the Competition.
4.2. Required fields include: First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email Address, Postcode, and Property Type(Private / Commercial).
5. Prize(s)
5.1. The prize is one (1) solar battery and solar system installation provided by 1KOMMA5º Adelaide.
5.2. The total prize value is AUD $15,950.00 (inclusive of GST), with the Government STC Financial Incentive signed over to 1KOMMA5º Adelaide.
5.3. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
5.4. The Promoter reserve the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
6.1. The winner will be selected by random draw from the pool of valid entries that voted for the ‘Power Play Moment’ that received the highest number of votes during the Competition Period. The draw will be conducted electronically, by using a random number generator to select one entry at random from the eligible pool of valid entries received during the Competition Period.
6.2. The draw will take place at 12:00pm (ACST) on 1 May 2026 at 1KOMMA5º Adelaide, 336 South Road, Croydon Park.
6.3. The winner will be notified by phone and email within 7 days of the draw.
6.4. The winner must respond within 2 months to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond in that time, the Promoter will conduct a redraw using the same method at the same location at 12:00pm (ACST) on 7 July 2026. The redraw winner will be notified by phone and email within 7 days of the redraw.
6.5. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Delivery / Redemption of Prize
7.1. The prize will be delivered or redeemed in accordance with arrangements made between the Promoter and the winner. The prize does not include any goods or services prohibited under SA lottery laws.
7.2. The Promoter is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the winner (e.g. site preparation) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Publicity
8.1. By entering, the winner grants the Promoter and Adelaide United a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use their name, image, likeness, and entry for promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes in any media without further remuneration, unless prohibited by law.
8.2. The Promoter will publish the winner’s details (last name, first initial and postcode) via their website, social media, and other promotional channels within 30 days of the draw or unclaimed prize draw (if applicable).
9. Privacy
9.1. Personal information collected from entrants will be used for the purposes of administering this competition, which may include disclosure to third parties, including the provider of the prize and the Promoter’s advisors, third party service providers or regulatory authorities, for the purpose of conducting the competition, or for promotional and marketing purposes (including for direct marketing) (Purpose).
9.2. Entrants consent to the use of their personal information for the Purpose, and for the Promoter and the prize provider to contact them for future promotional purposes. Entrants may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the relevant marketing communication or by contacting the Promoter.
9.3. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy (see link) governs the general use, disclosure, access, and correction of personal information provided by entrants in connection with this competition.
10. Liability & Disclaimers
10.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter exclude all liability for loss, damage, or injury (including indirect or consequential loss) arising out of or in connection with the promotion or the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. For the avoidance of doubt, noting in these Terms and Conditions excludes, limits or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
10.2. The Promoter is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, or incomplete entries.
10.3. If for any reason the competition cannot proceed as planned (including due to technical failures or events beyond the Promoter’s control), the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition, subject to any applicable regulatory approvals.
10.4. If the winner of the prize is outside of the Adelaide Metro Area, further travel fees may apply. Any additional travel fees will be disclosed and agreed upon before installation of the prize.
11. Disqualification
11.1. The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, or in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
11.2. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and the identity of entrants.
12. Governing Law
12.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
12.2. Entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
13. General
13.1. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions (or any aspect of this competition) at any time, subject to applicable laws.
13.2. Any amendment will be published via the Promoter’s website or notified to entrants as appropriate.
14. Permit Number
14.1. This competition will be conducted under South Australian Major Trade Promotion License No. T26/8.
