Adelaide United’s preparations for the 2022/23 season officially get underway on Wednesday, 6 July as 17 players report for pre-season testing at the VALO Training Centre in Playford.
New signings Harry Van der Saag and Ben Warland will be among those present and begin working under Carl Veart and newly appointed Assistant Coach Mark Milligan’s tutelage, who joins the Reds’ backroom staff.
Recently promoted attacker Luka Jovanovic, will also be taking part in the initial sessions following an impressive season with the Young Reds.
The remaining members in the squad will join the team in the coming weeks following their international commitments, while some were granted extended leave.
Adelaide’s first competitive match of the new campaign will take place on Saturday, 30 July against Newcastle Jets in the Australia Cup 2022 Round of 32 at McDonald Jones Stadium.
