Adelaide United, in partnership with One Culture, is set to deliver a brand new Inclusive Football Program this October school holidays, giving young people with disabilities the chance to experience the world game in a fun, accessible, and engaging environment.
One Culture has established itself as a leader in inclusive sport in South Australia, running weekly programs across Adelaide for the past eight years. These programs use football and other inclusive sports as a tool to promote physical activity, social connection, and community belonging, ensuring people of all abilities can enjoy the game.
The holiday program will be led by Adelaide United coaches alongside One Culture facilitators, bringing together expertise, passion, and inclusivity in every session.
The participants will enjoy a kick around with some of Adelaide’s finest male and female players of Adelaide United and get a free Adelaide United Jersey as well.
“Football is more than a game, it’s a powerful vehicle for inclusion,” said Nader Ibrahim, CEO of One Culture.
“This partnership with Adelaide United demonstrates our shared commitment to breaking down barriers and ensuring every young person, regardless of their ability, has the opportunity to play and thrive.”
Adelaide United’s Community Partnerships Manager, Ruben Garcia Byrne, said the Club is excited to partner with One Culture.
“We’re proud to work alongside One Culture to create a program where every young person feels welcome, supported, and part of the Adelaide United family,” said Garcia Byrne.
“Football belongs to everyone, and this initiative is about making sure that’s truly the case.”
The beautiful game is even more beautiful when everyone is included.
