Adelaide United is proud to continue its strong partnership with Sports College SA in 2026, with the Identified Player Program (IPP) officially underway, providing a co-educational pathway for aspiring footballers with the potential to compete at the highest level.
The program launch gave students a unique opportunity to hear from Adelaide United CEO Nathan Kosmina before taking part in a special on-field session led by A-League Men’s Assistant Coach, Adrian Stenta. Stenta also steps into a new role as Sports College SA’s IPP Ambassador, further strengthening the connection between the classroom and the professional game.
The IPP is designed to give talented young footballers access to a genuine high-performance environment while they complete their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). Participants will train in professional settings, learn from elite coaches, and explore clear industry pathways, all while receiving tailored support across key development areas including fitness, tactics, mindset and personal growth.
This collaboration reflects Adelaide United’s commitment to developing the next generation of players both on and off the pitch, ensuring students are equipped with the skills, knowledge and connections needed for future success in football and beyond.
Through the partnership and Sports College SA’s innovative, project-based curriculum students benefit from authentic learning experiences that connect education with real-world opportunities in the football industry, allowing students to pursue their passion for the game while building meaningful pathways for their future.
