Adelaide United can confirm the departure of goalkeeper Annalee Grove by mutual consent.
The Club and Annie have agreed to terminate her contract to allow her to pursue another opportunity.
Grove joined Adelaide United in 2020 and went on to make 53 appearances for the Reds across five seasons, celebrating her 50th appearance in 2024 against Central Coast Mariners.
In a farewell message, Annie said:
“I would like to thank Adelaide United for the opportunity to represent the Club over the past five years. It has been a privilege to play in front of such passionate fans and alongside talented teammates. I’m thankful for the opportunity to grow as a player within a supportive environment like Adelaide. I will always carry great memories from my time here and wish the Club continued success.”
Head of Football, Marius Zanin, thanked Annie for her contribution to the Club:
“Annie has been a fantastic servant of Adelaide United over the past five years. She has been a consistent and reliable presence both on and off the field, and we’re grateful for her professionalism, commitment, and the role she’s played in our team culture. On behalf of the Club, I’d like to thank Annie for her time at United and wish her every success in the next chapter of her career.”
The Club extends its best wishes to Annie for the future.
