Ninja ALeague Semi Final leg one fixtures locked in

● Adelaide United set up Sunday ‘original rivalryagainst Melbourne Victory.

● Central Coast Mariners take on undefeated Premiers, Melbourne City.

● Semi Final leg two fixtures to be confirmed next week.

Monday 28 April: After two exhilarating Elimination Finals, the fixtures for leg one of the Semi Finals of the Ninja A-League 2025 Finals Series have been locked in.

The first Semi Final will see Central Coast Mariners face Premiers, Melbourne City, on Saturday 3 May at Industree Group Stadium. The Mariners progressed after coming from behind to defeat Canberra United 2-1 on Monday night, thanks to a pair of goals from attacker Jade Pennock. The Mariners now face a tough two-leg battle against Melbourne City who qualified directly to the Semi Final stage after being crowned Premiers following an ‘invincible’ undefeated regular season.

The second Semi Final will see Adelaide United take on Melbourne Victory on Sunday 4 May after the Reds defeated Western United 1-0 in their Elimination Final on Sunday afternoon, after Matilda McNamara’s first half headed finish proved enough to see Adelaide past Kat Smith’s side. Adelaide will now host Victory in the first leg after they qualified directly to the Semi Final stage after finishing the regular season in second place.

Melbourne City and Melbourne Victory will both host their respective return legs at home on May 10 or 11. With the three Melbourne based men’s teams all in the reckoning for finals, which kicks off on that same weekend, the match details for the Semi Final second legs will be confirmed after this weekend.

The winners of each two-legged Semi Final will qualify for the Ninja A-League Women 2025 Grand Final, with the highest placed team earning the right to host the Grand Final, which is set to be played on May 17 or 18.
