Adelaide United is delighted to announce the signing of 21-year-old defender Holly Murray on a one-year contract, with the option of a second year. She will wear the number 4 shirt for the upcoming 2025/26 Ninja A-League season.
Born in Melbourne, Victoria, Murray began her professional career with Canberra United, making her debut in the 2022/23 season. Her standout performances saw her recognised as the club’s Rising Star that year. Over the past three seasons, she has established herself as a dependable and versatile defender, building a reputation for her composure, intelligence, and strong work ethic.
Speaking about her move to Adelaide, Murray said:
“I’m really excited to be a part of Adelaide United for the upcoming season. This is a fantastic opportunity, and I cannot wait to work for my teammates, the coaches, and our passionate fans.
