Adelaide United is proud to celebrate its own being recognised at the 2025 Dolan Warren Awards, which were broadcast on the A-League’s YouTube Channel on Tuesday night.
First up, Archie Goodwin was named the Boost Mobile Young Footballer of the Year, capping off a phenomenal debut season with the Reds. The 20-year-old striker made 26 appearances (19 starts) across the Isuzu UTE A-League season, scoring an impressive 13 goals.

His prolific form saw him finish as the equal top goal-scorer in the competition, making him the youngest Golden Boot winner in Isuzu UTE A-League history.
“I’m really happy and grateful to receive this award,” Goodwin said. “I’ve had a really good breakout year and I think my hard work has really paid off. Getting consistent match minutes has been the biggest factor — you can’t replicate game time at training. To be able to do that every weekend with the trust of my coaches and teammates meant a lot.”
Meanwhile, Adrian Stenta was crowned Ninja A-League Women Coach of the Year, following a record-breaking season that saw Adelaide United Women reach unprecedented heights.

Under Stenta’s guidance, the team registered:
- 14 regular season wins
- A club-record 45 points (tripling the tally from last season)
- An 11-game unbeaten run — the longest in club history
- Eight clean sheets, another club record
- The Club’s first-ever finals win, culminating in a semi-final berth for the first time
While the team narrowly missed out on a Grand Final appearance, the campaign was a landmark year that has laid a strong foundation for the future of the program.
Adrian Stenta said: “To be voted by your peers and win this award for a second time is really special,” Stenta said. “We had a history-making season, and that’s down to the playing group — their consistency at training and in games has been outstanding. Hopefully in the future, seasons like this aren’t seen as record-breaking, but as the standard for Adelaide United.”
“I approached this season with a real sense of gratitude. After the way last year ended, I was thankful the club still believed in the plan. That gave me even more motivation to work hard — for the players, for the staff, and for a club I care so deeply about.”
“We’re extremely proud of both Archie and Adrian for their well-deserved recognition,” said Adelaide United CEO, Nathan Kosmina.
“Archie’s breakout season and Adrian’s leadership through a record-breaking campaign highlight the strength of our football programs and the direction we’re heading as a Club.”
Adelaide United also congratulates Erin Healy, who finished runner-up in the Julie Dolan Medal following an outstanding inaugural season with the Reds. Healy, who claimed the Dianne Alagich Medal as the Club’s best and fairest, was among the league’s top performers with 7 goals, 2 assists, and standout attacking metrics including 48 successful dribbles (3rd in the league) and 105 touches in the opposition box (2nd in the league).
Meanwhile, Adelaide United’s Claudia Jenkins took out Save of the Year for her incredible diving save to keep out Cass Davis’ long range effort in Round 9 of the Ninja A-League Women.
Teammate Emily Condon also earned a spot in the top 10 of the Julie Dolan Medal voting, rounding out a stellar year for the Club’s midfield.
On the Men’s side, Zach Clough finished 4th in the Johnny Warren Medal voting after another excellent campaign in Red, recording 9 assists and 7 goals.
And finally, in the Isuzu UTE A-League Men, the Reds took out the competition’s Fair Play Award after finishing the season with the fewest points on the ‘fair play ladder’ at the conclusion of the regular season.
Adelaide United congratulates all award winners and finalists and thanks its players, coaches, and support staff for their dedication and passion throughout the 2024/25 season.
