Adelaide United to Host Ninja A-League Women’s Home Elimination Final at Coopers Stadium

Adelaide United is thrilled to confirm that our A-League Women’s (ALW) squad will host a Home Elimination Final on Sunday, 27 April at 3:30pm (local) at Coopers Stadium.

This marks the team’s second standalone home match of the season at Coopers Stadium, following a strong 3-1 victory over Brisbane Roar on Sunday, 23 March, which drew an enthusiastic crowd of 3,305.

The Club is now aiming for an even bigger turnout, as we invite the entire South Australian football community to get behind the Reds for one of the most important matches in our history.

A-League Women’s captain Isabel Hodgson shared her excitement ahead of the clash:

“We’ve worked tirelessly all season and to be rewarded with a home final at Coopers Stadium is incredibly special. We can’t wait to put on a show and continue our incredible season in front of our amazing fans,” Hodgson said.

Adelaide United CEO Nathan Kosmina also highlighted the importance of community support and thanked key stakeholders:

“We’re extremely proud of what our women’s team has achieved this season. We extend our sincere thanks to AVM for their ongoing support and hope to see Coopers Stadium packed with the South Australian football family as we push for a place in the semi-finals.”

Martin Radcliffe, Chief Executive Officer of Adelaide Venue Management – operators of Coopers Stadium – echoed Kosmina’s comments:

“The Adelaide United Women’s team has had a fantastic season and to host a home final is incredibly special. We encourage fans to come and join us at the game, cheer on the Reds, and help generate the atmosphere for which Coopers Stadium is known.”

Tickets for the match will go on sale on Tuesday, 22 April, and Adelaide United encourages all fans to secure their seats early and help make this a day to remember.
