Adelaide United Legend, Richie Alagich, is anticipating another great occasion when the Reds Legends take on the Australian Defence Force Open Men’s Football Team at Coopers Stadium this Remembrance Day.
Having been part of squads previously, is looking forward to honouring the servicemen and servicewomen who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country, whilst also catching up with some former teammates.
“First and foremost (I’m here) to honour the men and women who have served our country for so many years and pay them respect.
“I (also) get to see some people that I don’t get to see too often and have a laugh, and then honour the servicemen and women of our country and their sacrifices.”
The day will also be acknowledging the work of the Poppy Appeal, who for more than 100 years, have supported Australian veterans and their families.
Donating to the Poppy Appeal will help the RSL continue to deliver life-changing support to our veterans when they need it the most.
