Alagich Vidmar 2024/25 Red Army ALM Player of the Year: Archie Goodwin

Adelaide United is pleased to announce Archie Goodwin as the winner of the 2024/25 Red Army A-League Men’s Player of the Year.

The awarded player is voted by both the general public and Red Army members in an end-of-season vote, recognising the player they have identified as contributing most to the team’s success with their on-field performance as well as upholding the Club’s “The People’s Club” ethos. Previous recipients of the Red Army A-League Men’s Player of the Year award include Craig Goodwin, Nestory Irankunda, and Ryan Kitto.

Red Army President, Josh Wilson expressed his appreciation for Archie’s on-field performance as well as his immediate embracing of Club values:

“Archie has a phenomenal season and deserves all the recognition he has received. He’s just the second Adelaide United player to win the golden boot in our Club’s proud history behind the great, Sergio Van Dijk. His immediate passion and love for the Club has been noticed and embraced by supporters and we’re grateful he chose to play in Red this season.”
