ALM Injury Update: Round One

Adelaide United is set to kick-off the new Isuzu UTE A-League season against Central Coast Mariners on Friday with a strong squad available for selection.

The Club can confirm a number of players have been battling various injuries throughout preseason, however Bernardo, Hiroshi Ibusuki, and Nestory Irankunda have all successfully overcome their injury concerns and are available for selection.

Defender Harry Van der Saag, who underwent surgery in December to repair a tear in his right medial meniscus, has also been continuing rehabilitation and is nearing a return to pitch work.

Current Injury List

Jay Barnett (Hamstring)

Barnett underwent surgery during pre-season and has made a successful return to pitch-based rehab. His progress will be closely monitored over the coming weeks.
