Adelaide United is pleased to confirm Georgia Campagnale has re-signed for the upcoming Westfield W-League 2020/21 season.
Campagnale ranks second in the Club’s all-time appearances list with 61 matches, having been with the Reds since 2014. The 23-year-old is predominantly a full-back, but is renowned for her versatility.
Campagnale featured 13 times for Adelaide City in the local Women’s National Premier League, helping the side clinch a league and cup double.
After agreeing to a one-year extension, Campagnale said: “I’m really pleased to be re-signing with Adelaide United for my seventh consecutive season.
“I’m looking forward to continue working with Adrian, after he had been our assistant coach for the last two seasons.
“It will be great to have him (Stenta) as our Head Coach and working with him to develop my game and becoming a stronger player.”

Adelaide United’s Westfield W-League Head Coach, Adrian Stenta, said: “Georgia is another player who brings a lot of experience to the team and we’re delighted to have her return for the new season.
“She is a model of consistency and hard work and has accumulated a lot of matches in her six previous seasons at W-League level.
“Her ability to operate in several positions is another benefit to her inclusion in the squad, giving us a number of options to deploy her in as we work out the best balance for the squad.”
Adelaide United’s Head of Women’s Football, Ivan Karlović, added: “We’re delighted to have Georgia commit to the Club for another season.
“She brings a lot of quality to the team and is now the ninth player we have re-signed ahead of the new season.
“We’re pleased that we have managed to retain the bulk of the squad so far and further announcements will be made in the near future.”
