A thunder storm and floodlight failure threatened to render the match incomplete but despite delays, Adelaide United Women were able to complete their Westfield W-League Round 7 match up with Sydney FC in an eventful night at Cromer Park. The Reds succumbed to the potent Sydney attack going down 5-2 in their first loss of the 2018/19 season. Veronica Latsko scored a brace for the second consecutive week.
