Fresh from being awarded Player of the Match by Paramount+, Adelaide United forward, Ben Halloran, spoke with Max Burford about Saturday night’s match against Melbourne Victory.

Halloran said:
“Tonight wasn’t about an individual performance.

“We’ve had a run of poor form and we really needed to get a win tonight, especially against Victory at home.

“We were 1-0 up and, I think, doing quite well, but credit to Victory for fighting back.

“A point was probably a fair result, but we’re pretty gutted that we didn’t get the win.

“Overall I think it was a pretty good performance, but it really wasn’t enough.

“Getting flogged by Central Coast was pretty embarrassing for us.

“Despite the fact that we didn’t win, there are plenty of things we can build on and build a bit of momentum now.”
