Ahead of Sunday’s Ninja A-League Women’s Round Two clash against Western Sydney Wanderers, Adelaide United Media spoke with international signing, Erin Healy.
Healy on making her Adelaide United A-League debut in Round 1 v Melbourne Victory…
“It was great. I feel like we had a pretty long preseason, so it was fun to finally get out on the field and play for something.”
Erin’s first impression of the Ninja A-League Women’s…
“I feel like this League is just a much faster pace and more aggressive. I’m used to it in America, so it was kind of nice to get back into feeling something I’m comfortable with.”
Healy on being involved in the most attacking sequences (12) in Round One across the entire League…
“We’ll be looking to play a high attacking game for the rest of the season. We’re going to try to utilise having two 10’s and maybe one nine, and just work with us three up top and see what we can do. Since we have such a forward-focused mind, we can find some more goals and be versatile.”
Erin on the plan for Round 2 against Western Sydney away…
“I think we’re ready to just put it all out on the field. We felt a little cheated out of last game, so I think we’re ready to just keep fighting and try to get a result in this game.”
