Adelaide United is excited to unveil its new home and away playing kits for the Hyundai A-League 2018/19 season.
Designed and manufactured by United’s official on-field partner, Macron, the home kit incorporates the Club’s traditional state colours: red, navy, and yellow.
The simple slim-fit design made from Macron’s Performance System fabric has a modernised twist, with navy mesh inserts featuring either side of the all-red torso to guarantee player comfort and breathability.
The team’s badge is embroidered on the left side of the chest and the Hyundai A-League logo, in the Club’s unique colours, appears on the right.
Yellow and navy trimming outline the neck hole, while the piping shrike features on the back of the shirt along with the Club’s founding year, 2003. Navy trimming is also visible around the bottom of the all-red shorts and the red socks have a vertical navy stripe down the calf with “AUFC” stitched in.

Meanwhile, the white away strip includes a distinctive red and navy horizontal panelling across the top of the chest. Additionally, red and navy outline the neck opening.
The Hyundai A-League logo and embroidered Adelaide United badge features on top of the two stripes, while, like the home jersey, the piping shrike appears on the back of the shirt.
White mesh inserts have been incorporated on either side of the torso as well for comfort and enabling players to perform to their optimum.
The shorts are white and have a thin red outline at the end of the shorts, while the white socks are complemented by thin red and navy hoops with the AUFC letters stitched on.
United’s goalkeepers will wear three different strips throughout the season. The first is a fluorescent green, accented with black trimming under the arms, along with subtle black piping either side of the torso and at the bottom of the V-neck.
The second is fluorescent yellow, again with black trimming, while the third strip is mainly black with incandescent green highlights in what is a unique and effective contrast. All three goalkeeper kits contain mesh inserts as well as the piping shrike.
Adelaide United fans are encouraged to attend the Club’s Fan Day at Coopers Stadium on Saturday, 15 September from 10:30am until 1:30pm for the first opportunity to purchase the new shirts and to also see the Reds’ Hyundai A-League squad presented with their playing kits for the 2018/19 season for the first time.
