Adelaide United FC’s new foreign signings Andy Slory and Francisco Usucar are eligible to line up against Melbourne Victory at AAMI Park on Sunday after their international transfer clearances came through.
Football Federation Australia (FFA) received the necessary paperwork from the Bulgarian Football Union for Slory-s transfer overnight, while Usucar-s clearance from Uruguay was confirmed on Monday.
Slory arrived in Adelaide from Bulgarian club Levski Sofia, while Usucar most recently completed a full season with Uruguay-s Central Espanol.
The clearances of the Reds- latest additions is both relieving and welcome news for Head Coach Rini Coolen as he plots United-s assault towards the finals starting with an assignment of trying to end a 10 game losing streak against the Victory.
Currently hanging onto second spot, the Reds have six games, four of which are at home, before the finals series kicks off.
