Adelaide United is set to host Para Hills Knights at Marden Sports Complex on Tuesday, 13 September.
With Carl Veart’s side ramping up preparations ahead of the Isuzu Ute A-League 2022/23 season, the Reds will take on a competitive Para Hills who narrowly lost in the NPL SA State League 1 Final 4-3 to West Adelaide.
“Everyone knows how long the pre-season is for A-Leagues sides,” Veart explained.
“It can also be challenging for us to find competitive friendly matches because of how our season lines-up with the NPL seasons and the distances for other professional sides.
“But facing Para Hills will be a good hit-out for our boys and give us a chance to get more run in our legs.
“Para Hills had a good season last year, so it’ll be a good game.”
