Adelaide United can confirm that Ryan Tunnicliffe will depart the Club at the conclusion of his contract on 1 July 2025
Tunnicliffe joined the Reds ahead of the 2023/24 campaign from English League One outfit Portsmouth. A graduate of the famed Manchester United academy, Ryan brought a wealth of experience and composure to the Club.
Across two seasons, he made 27 appearances – 23 in the A-League Men and four in the Australia Cup – and scored a memorable goal in just his second outing, against Melbourne City.
Ryan said “Adelaide has been great for me and my family, and I’ve really appreciated the lifestyle and the people. I’ve made some friends for life and wish the Club and everyone involved all the best for the future.”
Head of Football, Marius Zanin, thanked Ryan for his contribution to the Club:
“Ryan brought a great level of professionalism and experience to our squad, and his work ethic was greatly valued by his teammates and staff. We thank him for his service and wish him all the best moving forward.”
The Club extends its sincere appreciation to Ryan for his commitment to Adelaide United and wishes him every success in the next phase of his career.
