Adelaide United is excited to announce SA Power Networks has extended its partnership with the Club’s women’s team for the upcoming Westfield W-League 2019/20 season.

The South Australian company has continued its support of women’s football with the corporation’s logo again featuring as the front of shirt sponsor.

“We are delighted to extend our support of women’s football and Adelaide United’s women’s football team,” said SA Power Networks Manager: Sponsorship and Events, Kylie Kerrigan.

“Continuing to align our company values with that of Adelaide United and women’s sport is crucial to us as a business.

“Since we first began our support of AUFC Women we’ve seen many improvements in the team and we’re excited about its future.”

Adelaide United is also thrilled to confirm the re-signings of South Australian quartet Emily Condon, Georgia Campagnale, Emily Hodgson, and Chelsie Dawber for the Westfield W-League 2019/20 campaign.

Condon ranks second in the Club’s all-time appearances list with 53 matches and has scored seven goals.

The 21-year-old, who can operate in midfield or as a winger, spent the offseason with local Women’s National Premier League (WNPL) outfit Salisbury Inter, where she scored 24 goals in 23 games across all competitions.

Campagnale has been with the Reds since the 2014/15 season and has developed into a versatile defender and currently ranks third in appearances, having played 49 games.

Over the offseason, the 22-year-old plied her trade with Adelaide City in the WNPL and netted the extra-time winner against West Adelaide in the Grand Final, as the Black and Whites clinched a historic treble.

Meanwhile, Hodgson returns for a fourth consecutive season and played 11 matches last year.

Capped seven times by the Young Matildas, Hodgson was with WNPL side West Adelaide during the winter months.

Dawber has accumulated 10 appearances for United since her debut in 2017.

Injury restricted her involvement last season with the Reds, however in the WNPL with Adelaide City the 19-year-old demonstrated her quality.

She finished as the competition’s top scorer with 30 goals before adding a further three to her tally during the finals series.

AUFC Women Head Coach, Ivan Karlović, was pleased to have all four players on board for the impending season.

“We’re very happy that both Emily’s, Georgia, and Chelsie have all re-signed ahead of the new season,” he said.

“As a team we made great strides last year and we’re very confident ahead of the new season of making even more.

“These four girls all worked incredibly hard during their off-season and I know how hungry they are to get going again.

“Being able to retain the core of our squad will always be fundamental in making further progression and continue making steps towards finals football, achieving more great things for this club.”
