Adelaide United is thrilled to announce that 19-year-old South Australian talent Ryan White has committed his future to the Reds, signing a five-year contract.
Ryan, who made his senior competitive debut for the Club in the Australia Cup Round of 32 against Blacktown City FC, becomes the 209th player to represent Adelaide United.
A product of South Australia, Ryan’s rise has been nothing short of impressive. He began his football journey at RAA NPLSA club Para Hills Knights, where he showcased his potential. He then progressed through the FSA NTC program before joining Adelaide United’s Youth setup, after another short stint at Para Hills.

In 2024, Ryan netted 10 goals in 23 matches in the state’s top-flight competition, and also contributed five goals during the Reds’ RAA NPLSA Championship-winning campaign in 2023.
Ryan White expressed his excitement about the long-term commitment, saying:
“It’s always been a dream to play for the Reds, and I’m absolutely chuffed to commit to my boyhood club.
“Adelaide United is special to me and my family, and I can’t wait to continue working hard and giving everything I have for the Club,” Ryan said.
Technical Director Ernest Faber praised White’s character and development, stating:
“Ryan embodies everything we are looking for in a player at Adelaide United. His work ethic, dedication, and attitude, both on and off the pitch, align perfectly with the Club’s values.
“He has grown within our system, and having a player with his DNA and history with the Club makes this signing even more special.
“We’re excited to continue his development as he progresses with us,” Faber concluded.
