Adelaide United can confirm the signing of young Dutch prospect, Julian Kwaaitaal, from PSV Eindhoven.
Kwaaitaal, 19, has signed with the Reds for three years with an option to extend for a further year, however, will be loaned to Dutch second division side, FC Eindhoven, with immediate effect.
As Julian is being loaned to another club, he will not be taking up a visa spot in the Adelaide United squad list.
Kwaaitaal, an attacking right winger, joined the PSV Eindhoven academy in 2019 under the leadership of Adelaide United Technical Director, Ernest Faber.
“Having worked with Julian for the last five years, he has shown some exciting potential,” Faber stated.
“Julian is a dynamic player with a keen sense of the game, and his technical skills have developed significantly.
“This loan move will be important for his growth, offering him regular first-team football in a competitive environment.
“We look forward to watching him make this next step in his career and believe he has a bright future ahead.”
Julian will join his new club, FC Eindhoven, immediately as they prepare for the 2024/25 campaign.
