Adelaide United can confirm a member of its Isuzu Ute A-League team has tested positive for COVID-19.
The player, who is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, first received a positive result yesterday, Thursday, 23 December. The entire Isuzu Ute A-League team and football staff, including the positive player, were then re-tested.
The same player remains positive and has been isolating since receiving his first positive result. No other player or staff member has symptoms for COVID-19 and all have returned negative tests.
Adelaide United continues to work closely with the Australian Professional Leagues and SA Health to ensure the safety of the entire club and broader community is maintained.
