Adelaide United is proud to announce it will continue its partnership with Feast Festival ahead of its 2022 Picnic in the Park this Sunday, 27 November and further throughout the remainder of Feast’s 2022 program.

Feast is South Australia’s not-for-profit LGBTI+ Queer Arts and Cultural Festival that celebrates pride and diversity and was first established in 1997. Feast provides a safe and inclusive platform for the LGBTI+ community to share and express themselves.

Adelaide United will be present at this Sunday’s Picnic in the Park and will launch fresh Adelaide United Pride merchandise, as well as Josh Cavallo being present for an exclusive meet and greet.

Cavallo will also be part of a panel at the Elite Journeys in Sport event on Friday, 2 December.

Josh Cavallo said: “I’m so happy to be part of the upcoming events with Feast Festival.

“Giving back to the LGBTI+ community is something very important to me and I’m looking forward to help raise further awareness for our cause.

“Feast’s work is crucial to the safety and inclusion of the LGBTI+ community in South Australia and being part of their work is very humbling.”

Adelaide United Captain and Feast ambassador, Isabel Hodgson, said: “As a proud member of the LGBTI+ community and as an ambassador for Feast, I’m very excited to continue supporting their great work.

“Adelaide United is helping to pave the way for professional sporting clubs in this space and it’s an honour to contribute to such positivity.

“This year’s Picnic in the Park will be an amazing celebration and I can’t wait for more great initiatives in the future.”

Feast Festival’s General Manager, Helen Sheldon, said: “We are very excited about our partnership with Adelaide United and the incredible support they have shown to Feast Festival.

“Feast is an arts and community festival, and sport is an important part of our lives.

“We look forward to having Adelaide United at our even bigger and better Sports Hub at Picnic in the Park and working with Adelaide United into the future on all sorts of inclusive events.”
