The FFA Cup 2021 Round of 32 got underway last week, with Brisbane Roar and Gold Coast Knights cementing their place in the last 16. The action continues in Queensland on Tuesday 21 September with Brisbane-based Lions FC hosting Football NT's Casuarina FC, before moving from East coast to West coast with the Round of 32 continuing on in Perth. In an historic FFA Cup first, National Premier Leagues (NPL) side Floreat Athena will host A-League club Adelaide United on Sunday 26 September, which will be the first Round of 32 match played on a weekend.
Adelaide United can advise it has signed goalkeeper, Dakota Ochsenham, on a short-term deal as an injury replacement for Joe Gauci ahead of the 2021/22 season. The 21-year-old had previously been at the Club, having played 23 times at National Premier Leagues level, and was a substitute at A-League level last season.
