Beginning his football career at local South Australian club, Campbelltown City, Ben Warland moved to the Australian Institute of Sport in 2011 to further his development, before returning to SA and the Adelaide United Youth Team in 2014. Having represented Australia’s U17 and U-20 sides, Warland is a seasoned defender considering his age, with substantial experience at a high level. Having captained the Reds’ Youth Team to National Premier League success in 2014/15, Warland is a commanding figure in defence. He boasts a sound understanding of the game, has illustrated he is a more than dependable replacement to fill any void left at the back and consequently penned a new two-year deal with the Club.
