Adelaide United is delighted to announce Josh Cavallo has signed a contract extension set to keep him at the Club until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Cavallo, a versatile asset for Head Coach, Carl Veart, for being able to be deployed as a left-back or midfielder, joined the Club in 2020/21 and has featured 51 times for United.

Veart said: “We’re very happy to have Josh commit to our Club for a further two seasons.

“Josh is a very hard-working and determined footballer who is a fantastic asset for us for his versatility and quality.

“At 23, Josh has a long career ahead of him and we are looking forward to see his football continue to develop over the next two seasons and beyond.”

Cavallo suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in February 2023 and continues to recover well from his successful surgery to repair the injury, aiming to be in-line for a return to first-team football by the commencement of the Isuzu UTE A-League.
