Adelaide United is proud to announce Flinders University will continue as the Club’s Major Partner for another two years.
Flinders University has been the Major Partner of the Club since the 2019/20 season and this new agreement will see the partnership run until 2024.
Flinders University’s new logo, after recently undergoing a rebrand, will feature on the front of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s home shirt and on the back of the Liberty A-League Women’s home and away jerseys after securing co-major partner status in 2021.
The institution’s brand will also continue to appear on the men’s training apparel.
Adelaide United Chief Executive Officer, Nathan Kosmina, said: “This is a fantastic display of commitment from Flinders University, who are now entering their fourth season as our Major Partner.
“As part of the renewal, Flinders University will maintain Major Partnership status with our men’s team and retain Co-Major Partnership with our women’s team.
“The extended partnership will see increased work integrated learning opportunities through student internships, the development of a fully-integrated school curriculum, and a football scholarship initiative.
“Over a dozen students have undertaken their work integrated learning within our football and administration departments since the commencement of the partnership, with some ending in full and part-time employment.
“Flinders University will also be providing substantial support of a newly launched football scholarship program, where each year, four talented youth players will have their local registration fees paid by our Major Partner.
“We’re really excited to see this great partnership, built on strong principles of innovation and collaboration, evolve further over the next two years.”
Flinders University Vice Chancellor, Professor Colin Stirling, said: “We’re pleased to be continuing our association with Adelaide United and the opportunities this provides our students to experience exceptional work placements, from business and multimedia to exercise science and physiology, in a nationally renowned club.
“We see many levels of value in increasing our brand exposure with a Club that advocates inclusivity and diversity.
“This mutually beneficial partnership reflects our aligned values, and underscores a joint commitment to equality of opportunity, promotion of health and fitness, and competitive excellence.”
