Adelaide United will begin its Australia Cup 2022 campaign against Newcastle Jets following Wednesday night’s Round of 32 draw.
The Reds will face the Jets at McDonald Jones Stadium on Saturday, 30 July at 7pm ACST.
This will be the third meeting between the two sides in the Australia Cup with Adelaide prevailing on both occasions in 2017 and 2019.
The Reds are the most successful team in the competition’s history, lifting the Cup a record three times.
United won the inaugural tournament in 2014 before clinching the trophy again in 2018 and 2019.
