The Adelaide United Football Club is disappointed to confirm that its front of shirt sponsor, Unleash Solar, has gone into voluntary administration.
As late as yesterday afternoon the club was in discussions with the objective of seeking an assurance that the sponsorship monies outstanding would be paid and that the company would honour its commitments. That however is no longer the case.
Adelaide United FC accepted the sponsorship in good faith and has delivered everything it agreed to provide. The club is simply not prepared to allow Unleash Solar to continue receiving the benefits that the sponsorship agreement gave to the company and the brand.
The club will use its best endeavours to remove all Unleash Solar collateral but given the late notice and time of the season, this will prove a difficult task to fulfil completely.
