Adelaide United remained unbeaten to start the Isuzu UTE A-League season following its six-nil victory over reigning premier Melbourne City on Sunday night.
It is the first time the club has won its opening two matches since the 2012/13 campaign, and only the second time in the club’s history that it has started a season with consecutive wins.
The Reds are now undefeated in eight A-League Men’s matches against Melbourne City (W4, D4), and the result made it consecutive wins against City for the first time since April 2016.
