Adelaide United Captain, Craig Goodwin, said he was pleased to get the three points away from home on Sunday afternoon.
Goodwin scored the Reds’ second for the day, after providing an assist for Hiroshi Ibusuki’s opener.
However, despite the win, Goodwin has called for more consistency over the 90 minutes.
Overall performance:
“We’re obviously happy with the three points, but we’re probably a little bit disappointed with the second half.
“We controlled (the first half) and 2-0 at half time, but we let them back in it.
“Having said that, coming away to the Champions from last season, it’s always going to be difficult.
“In the end, I think we do well to weather the storm and we’re happy to get the three points.
“I think we’re starting to take more of the chances that we get and we’re creating probably better quality chances than we did in the first couple games.
“Like I said, we’re happy with the three points, but there’s still a lot of room for improvement.”
