How to participate?
A 1-day trial will be held for players to be selected on the trip.
Please see trial details below:
Trial Date: Tuesday, 21 April
Location: St Clair Oval, Brocas Ave, St Clair SA
Session Time: 5:30pm – 6:45pm
If successful, players will be invited to participate on the trip, and will be accepted in being apart of the AUFC Advanced Program for the remainder of 2026 (U14 Only).
During the trial, players will be assessed by Adelaide United coaching staff across key footballing areas accordingly, as can be seen below:

Attitude and work rate
Coachability and team play
NOTE: To participate in the trial, you must complete the expression on interest form below.
FAQ
- Stage One – La Plata: Players live the full academy experience at Estudiantes, including accommodation, meals, and daily training.
- Stage Two – Buenos Aires: Players train at River Plate’s high-performance facility, explore the club’s history, and attend a live match at Estadio Monumental.
Package Price: Price Range: $8,800 – $9,700 + GST. This will be communicated once selected.
This includes:
- Return international flights (Adelaide – Buenos Aires – Adelaide)
- 12 nights’ accommodation
- Full-board meals at Estudiantes
- Ground transport, including airport transfers
- Training sessions at Estudiantes and River Plate
