Adelaide United Football Club advises that striker, Eli Babalj, has ruptured his Anterior Cruciate Ligament.
Eli Babalj ruptured his ACL during the Reds’ 4-1 win over Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.
He returned back to Adelaide following the match, undergoing a scan which has confirmed the injury sustained to his right knee. Babalj will undergo surgery next week.
The Adelaide United Football Club wishes Eli a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the football pitch.
