Adelaide United farewells young goalkeeper, Steven Hall, who has joined English Premier League Club Brighton & Hove Albion FC for a transfer fee.
Hall joined the Reds in the 2021/22 season, making a total of four appearances in the senior side.
Hall became the youngest goalkeeper to make their debut in the Isuzu UTE A-League when he was substituted on at 16 years and 350 days.
Speaking on the move, Hall said:
“Leaving Adelaide United was a tough decision, but the opportunity to compete in the English Premier League is a dream come true and an opportunity I could not turn down.
“I am grateful for the support of the coaching staff, my teammates, and the incredible fans; Adelaide will always hold a special place in my heart.”
“I want to thank all the coaches who gave me the opportunity to break into professional football and helped me develop into the best player I can be.
“In particular, I wish to thank Eugene Galekovic for all his guidance and support, along with the squads’ goalkeepers who I share a special bond with”.
Goalkeeper Coach, Eugene Galekovic, said: “We wish Steven all the best and thank him for his professionalism, commitment, and the positive influence he has had on his teammates.
“I acknowledge this is a tremendous opportunity for Steven and understand his decision to continue his football development in one of the most competitive leagues in the world.

Hall’s transfer to one of the most iconic and popular sporting leagues in the world is further testament to the quality footballers United has produced through its youth system in recent times.
