Delianov Departs Adelaide United

Adelaide United can confirm that James Delianov will depart the Club for another A-League opportunity.

Delianov joined the Reds in November 2020 and secured a clean sheet on debut just six weeks later. Over the past five seasons, he has made a significant contribution between the sticks, amassing 5951 minutes in 60 games across both the Isuzu UTE A-League and our Australia Cup campaigns, securing a total of twelve clean sheets.

Reflecting on his time at the Club, Delianov said:

“I’m incredibly grateful to Adelaide United for the opportunity to grow both as a player and as a person over the last five years. This club has felt like home, and I’ve formed friendships and memories that will stay with me forever. I want to thank the fans, staff, and my teammates for their unwavering support. I’ll always have a special place in my heart for Adelaide.”

Adelaide United Technical Director, Ernest Faber, also paid tribute to Delianov’s contribution:

“James has been a valuable member of our goalkeeping group over the past few seasons. He’s consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and commitment to improving his game, handling both opportunity and adversity with professionalism. We thank James for his contributions to our Club and wish him all the best with the new challenges that lay ahead in the next phase of his career”.

We thank James for his dedication and service to Adelaide United and wish him all the very best in the future.
