Adelaide United is thrilled to unveil its new home kit for the 2025/26 Season, drawing bold inspiration from the theatrical heart of South Australia. The design is a tribute to the city’s culture, heritage, and passion for entertainment and football.
From Centre Stage to Coopers Stadium – It’s Showtime
Taking cues from Adelaide’s world-renowned arts scene, from the electric energy of the Fringe Festival to the elegance of our theatre lining the city’s River Torrens, the 2025/26 home shirt transforms the rich tapestry of Adelaide’s cultural identity into a striking modern kit design.
The kit features three sublimated vertical lines down the centre, a visual representation of the pleats of a curtain rising before a show. The lines symbolise the transition from anticipation to action, the shift from darkness to spotlight, and the moment when the show begins. Much like matchday at Coopers Stadium, the stage is set, and the crowd awaits the performance.
The collar design mirrors the refined look of a conductor’s suit, underscoring the leadership and rhythm required to orchestrate not just a performance, but a football match, with our players as performers and our fans as the ever-passionate audience.
A Proud Nod to Our Heritage
The 2025/26 home kit also sees the return of the full-colour Adelaide United crest to showcase the state colours, proudly adorned with the Champions Star as tribute to our 2016 Grand Final triumph.
The design of the kit is completed with The People’s Club Icon, designed in an art deco style reminiscent of Adelaide’s historic theatres as a subtle but powerful nod to the city’s legacy and our role as South Australia’s Club.
