Adelaide United Ninja A-League Coach Theo Tsiounis has praised Chelsie Dawber’s impact ahead of her 100th appearance for the Club, while outlining the Reds’ focus on recovery, consistency and execution as they prepare for a tough away challenge against Western Sydney Wanderers.

“It’s always special when a player reaches a milestone like this, and we’re incredibly proud of Chelsie bringing up 100 appearances for Adelaide United.

“Western Sydney are a good side and well coached. Early in the season they were playing some very good football but were not getting the rewards they deserved. Recently they have made some changes to their structure and have picked up some strong results. It will be a tough game.”

“Consistency and quality in key moments are very important. We focus on the details that underpin our principles. If we can execute those well, we will be competitive in any game.”

“We’ve spoken recently about where we’re at and the opportunities in front of us. We always emphasise that every player plays a role and that the season is a journey.
“We’re in a good place with a healthy squad and plenty of quality. With matchday spots naturally limited, there will be times when not everyone can be involved, but the most important thing is that the whole group stays ready.
“If we keep bringing strong energy to training, the standards stay high and everyone puts themselves in the best position to contribute when their moment comes.”
