Adelaide United can confirm midfielder Sarah Morgan has departed the Club after three seasons in red.
The 25-year-old made 60 appearances and scored three goals after joining from Northwest Sydney Spirit ahead of the 2023/24 season. She debuted in a memorable 4–4 draw against Canberra United at Coopers Stadium on 15 October 2023.
Morgan’s goals included a stunning long-range strike against Western United in April 2025 and a winner directly from a corner against Perth Glory at Coopers Stadium last season.
Reflecting on her time in Adelaide, Morgan thanked her teammates, the Club and its supporters.
“When I moved to Adelaide three years ago, I never imagined saying goodbye would be so hard,” Morgan said.
“Thank you to my teammates for welcoming and supporting me, and to the Club for believing in me and helping me grow as a player and a person.
“To our fans, thank you for supporting us through tough seasons and unforgettable Club achievements. Adelaide has something very special and will forever hold a place in my heart.”
Adelaide United Football Director Mitch van Gellekom thanked Morgan for her contribution.
“Sarah has been a valued member of our squad over the past three seasons, and we thank her for everything she has contributed to Adelaide United,” van Gellekom said.
“We wish her all the best for what comes next, and we hope this won’t be the last we see of Sarah Morgan at Adelaide United.”
