Scans this morning revealed Boogaard has a low grade hamstring tear which he suffered in the 3-0 win over Sydney FC on New Years Eve and resulted in him coming from the field in the 64th minute.
The diagnosis effectively rules the 26 year old out of the trip to Hunter Stadium to tackle the Jets, his hamstring to be continually assessed meaning the club cannot put a specific time frame on how long he will be out of action.
Boogaard has started in all but one of the Reds- 14 matches so far this season.
