Two of Adelaide United-s ‘fashion gurus- have helped to promote the annual ‘Jeans for Genes Day-.

Renowned amongst Adelaide-s fashion conscious female population as well attired men, Fabian Barbiero and Bruce Djite headed into the studios at The Advertiser for a photo to spread the ‘Get your jeans on- message in the newspaper-s Adelaide Confidential section.

Wearing jeans kindly donated by RHD, the Reds duo were more than happy to do their bit to increase awareness of the initiative that raises much needed funds for children-s medical research.

Jeans for Genes Day takes place this Friday, August 3, and is about encouraging everyone to wear their denim in a united stance against childhood disease. Established in 1994, Jeans for Genes® proudly supports Children-s Medical Research Institute (CMRI), a pioneer in the field of paediatric medical research. Each year, thousands of Australians take part in this iconic event, with every dollar raised helping to bring tomorrow-s treatments and cures closer.
