AUFC Chairman Greg Griffin is urging Reds fans to help Gold Coast United Chairman Clive Palmer be added to the National Trust list of 100 National Living Treasures.
Adelaide United FC has been advised that Gold Coast United Chairman Clive Palmer has been short-listed for the National Trust list of 100 National Living Treasures.
The Club is delighted that Clive, a great Australian and a genuine friend of Adelaide United has received this nomination.
There is a website where Reds supporters can, if they choose to, vote for Clive to be included on this list. We urge you to do so.
To have the man responsible for Gold Coast United officially recognised as a great Australian is also recognition of our game and the Hyundai A-League. Without people like Clive prepared to invest in and back this league under sometimes very difficult circumstances we would all have a much lesser competition.
So let-s all get behind Clive and let him know that the Reds supporters and members greatly appreciate and admire his contribution to the game thus far.
