Taylor Regan joined Adelaide for the Hyundai A-League 2016/17 season in October 2016 where he immediately endeared himself to Reds supporters following several defensive masterclasses. Prior to signing with the Reds, Regan played in Malaysia for Negeri Sembilan FA and captained the side, after leaving the Hyundai A-League, where he played for five years with the Newcastle Jets. Regan is an established central defender with ample Hyundai A-League experience, having played over 70 times in the competition. By committing last-ditch tackles and forever throwing his body on the line, Regan’s no-nonsense approach go a long way in restricting his opposite number’s impact on the field.
