Adelaide United defender, Laura Johns, says the Reds will look to exploit Newcastle Jets on transition when the two sides meet on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds travel to McDonald Jones Stadium in solid form following last week’s 3-2 win over Melbourne Victory.
Ivan Karlović’s side lie in fourth place and determined to consolidate their position in the top four.
Meanwhile, the Jets are languishing in eighth place but Johns insisted the mindset does not change.
“I think we’re going into the game the same as what we usually do,” Johns said.
“We’ll make sure we’re nice and prepared, and look at some video and make sure we’re ready to go.”

Johns warned they must be wary of Newcastle’s dangerous attackers but suggested they can equally look to target them on the counter attack.
“We obviously know (Katie) Stengel is pretty good up top,” she said.
“They’re pretty good on the counter, but also when you’re good on the counter it means there’s a big gap in midfield.
“So can we find the gaps with them pushing forward?”
Johns has been one of Adelaide’s most consistent performers this season.
The 24-year-old has played every minute of every match at left-back, earning plaudits for her strong displays.
“Obviously left-back and playing all ninety minutes is new for me,” she said.
“It hasn’t really happened in previous seasons so I’m really happy that I’ve found my spot and people are saying that I’m doing pretty well.
“But I think I’m going into every game and have played against some of the best players on each side because they all happen to play right wing unfortunately.
“But I’ve just taken every game as they come and make sure I’m prepared.”
